Preservation has been the keystone of the Battle of Richmond Association’s efforts since day one.
Preservation of important Battle of Richmond land. Preservation of Civil War era structures. And most importantly, the preservation of the memories of the soldiers and local people that participated and were affected by the Battle of Richmond.
The Battle of Richmond Association coordinates and partners with the Madison County Fiscal Court’s Division of Historic Properties to care for all aspects in regards to the Battle of Richmond. Whether it be providing high quality programming, like living history days or the annual re-enactment, to providing expertise, knowledge and manpower in maintaining Richmond Battlefield Park, the Battle of Richmond Visitors Center, and other sites relating to the Battle of Richmond, the Battle of Richmond Association stands ready to assist in any way possible.
And we need you to be an integral part of this worthwhile endeavor.
Start with becoming a member of the association. There are several levels of monetary support. The Battle of Richmond Association is a non-profit (501-c-3) organization and we rely solely on donations.
Get involved. Attend the monthly meetings, if possible. Help out with events. Work with those already involved to find the right place for your contribution of time.
Make a commitment to this worthy cause. Make a difference. Stand with us as we move forward in remembering this significant Civil War battle.
